Philipp Sternal verteidigt seine Doktorarbeit erfolgreich

Im Jahr 2024 wurde das herausragende Nachwuchstalent Philipp Sternal aus mehreren hundert Bewerbern für die Zurich Graduate School of Economics ausgewählt und mit einem UBS Center Stipendiat ausgezeichnet. Nun hat er seine Doktorarbeit zum Thema „Essays in Behavioral and Experimental Economics” erfolgreich verteidigt. Herzlichen Glückwunsch, Dr. Sternal!

Philipp untersucht in seiner Dissertation, wie Menschen trotz schlechter Nachrichten ein positives Selbstbild bewahren können, ob begrenzte Aufmerksamkeit zu scheinbarem Zynismus führen kann und ob kollektives Handeln unter Marktvermittlern unmoralisches Verhalten mildern kann.
